I should like to share this sexy shot with my primate lover Janeliza XxxxX. Prime Mate. She however is on a mermaid vibe. The tide has gone out, darling. I await your return. Is this how we do things nowadays? I'm just a reformed DA collector, just an #ApeWithTechology.
Hello Alan, I really like this piece and would love to produce a hand drawn sketch based on it. Please let me know if you would be ok with me doing this and posting on my website and devianart. I would credit you for the original image.
I completely fail to see where the 'art' comes into play in this picture. Sure, it's a very attractive woman spread-eagle for everybody to see her goods, but aside from that there is nothing here. I could achieve this same effect with half-shadowing myself and posting my crotch on this site, but I refuse because this is not a porn venue.
I'm sorry but this is not even remotely considered to be art. There is nothing special done with the lighting, posing, background, or concept. This is simply a woman with her legs spread..aka porn.
KS Ogre....have you ever seen the painting by Pablo Picasso titled "Vagina"? The pose is very similar to this photo. While your view of art is Puritanism, art has evolved considerably. If you were an art collector you would be forced to broaden your horizons or you would limit yourself considerably.
I have not but I have seen his piece entitled "Nude Woman In A Red Armchair" and while it depicts nudity, it is done almost abstractly with misplaced anatomy, shapes, and coloring. I am not against nude art, but each person differs in his/her perspective and interpretation of art.
Do me a favor and Google Picasso's "Vagina" and tell me honestly if you would consider that a piece of art. If you say yes, then you must consider this photo also in the same breadth. If you say no then it should enlighten you that you've limited your horizons in regards to what art is considered by the art world. I am not saying that the art world should dictate what is art...I am only suggesting that no one should dictate what art is not.
Don't get me wrong, you do have some good pieces of work, but seeing as how this is the fastest way to see if you'd reply, yes I added you. If you wish I could simply remove you and be done, but does that really matter as long as you get honest opinions from other artists?
It's called criticism and has nothing to do with selfishness. Also, who are you to dictate what I should do when voicing my opinion? If a person doesn't want to see criticism, positive or negative, then that person shouldn't post anything. Finally, please learn how to properly exercise grammar and not resort to profanity when responding to something.
